Anyone know where these can be found? I seem to be striking out on all the usual sources like Midwest.

Try Joel Alpers at Rocky Mountain Memories.

Thanks, Dan. That's a nice specialized site for stereo.

Got any suggestions for direct positive processes for B&W?

I don't know if Kodak still makes a kit. If not, there's always dR5, do a web search.

Good luck,

Dan

Another fun site for stereo accessories and supplies is http://www.representatives.com/3D/.

Kodak seems to offer a reversal kit for its "T-Max 100," I suppose replacing the familiar old "Panatomic-X" process. It's called the "Kodak Professional T-Max 100 Direct Positive Film Developing Outfit," and described in Kodak's Tech Pub J-87.

Photographer's Formulary also makes a "T-Max" direct positive kit. They explain,
"The T-MAX reversal process allows black and white slides to be made from T-MAX 100 or 400 black and white negative film. The reversal process will produce excellent positives from one to two stops higher with the same development time; however negatives will be a thin positive. The kit makes five solutions (2 developers, bleach and a clearing bath). This kit will develop 4 rolls of film. Model Number 01-0600."
