Are you talking about a Graflex camera? If so, to open it look for a "bump" on the top or left side. When pushed the front should open.

It seems you need to do a bit of reading of various articles on the mainboard to find out more about your camera, including sources for a manual. That's a good idea [to get one] since you'll find a lot of features you never knew were there.
