I recently purchased a Polaroid 405 back to use on my Graphic View I. The ground glass will not spring away from the Graphic back far enough to fit the 405. Any ideas, this should fit right? Does anyone have a spare Graphic back to sell me? I could monify the back to fit the 405 but then my Calumet C2 would not fit, bacause of the extra space.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
Ed.

The 545 sheet film back will fit the Graphic (spring) back, but the pack film 405 pack will not, because, as you've figured it out, it's too thick.

I THINK a Graflok back from a View II will fit your camera and the 405, but your idea of modifying a graphic back is probably cost effective.
