I would like some help establishing the date of manufacture of my Speed Graphic. I believe it dates from around 1955. It’s serial number is 911851. It has a focal plane shutter and a top mounted rangefinder. Any clues anyone?

1949-50. The body has cutouts for the focus knobs. Early Pacemakers had black trim inside the cutouts like Aniversaries. Later they went to bright. Which does yours have?

Thanks for the info. It has the black trim inside the cutouts, silver trim around the rest of the front.
This camera is in great (next to new) shape for a 53 year old camera. I got it on ebay along with a heiland flash, a bunch of holders and other accessories for only $179.

Hi all --
Here's the first of my deluge of questions:
My Pacemaker Speed showed up today. It has the shiny cutouts for the focus knobs and a top-mounted Graflex RF. SN is 895926. Can a kind soul with the docs equate that to a year?
thanx,
-ls-
