|
|
Got a beautiful 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 Anniversary Speed Graphic in a trade & since only b&w is available in that size, I was thinking on popping the filmholder back off & installing a Graphic #23 120 film back to use it as a point & shoot w/the sports finder. Anybody have any ideas or thoughts on the idea?
Thanks for any input. |

at 1 point in time as told to me! graflex put 23 RB backs{ Rotating back} on some 3x4 trying to sale some of the 3x4 that was old inventory stock!
I know of some one that put a MAMIYA RB 67 Rotating back like this
ebay #130559028451 MAMIYA RB67 ProS Rotating Adapter Excellent
on there 3x4 graflex crown . it works great in fact it work so good that
I did it to a busch pressman C as it has a square bellows and it work
GREAT that way for me!!
any thing that makes a old camera come back to life work for me!!!!!
BUT with a jige you can cut down 4x5 film & that works TOO
I use a Martin Yale 7000E 12 stack paper cutter with a jige
it has a clamp that hold a stack of 25 or 50 sheets of film down tight
AND with the code notches on the film in to the jige at all times so
you don't cut it off!!!!
its a 2 place jige the first one is for the width at about 82mm
then turn it 90* & in to the next noch of the jige cut 108mm

Make sure that your rangefinder/lens combo is tack sharp or you have an accurate focus scale on the bed. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

I also have a Anniversary speed, and have shot B&W in it and would like to shoot color, and like your idea. But yikes the cost of a Martin Yale 7000E 12 stack paper cutter is expensive and just what is a jige? |
