Hi Everyone,

After so much help from you all, I thought Id try and give back a little....

Well after searching for the mythic "Slotted" holder for the past several years and not finding any reasonably priced.... I decided to try something else. Not wanting to modify my 5x7 Press or Home Portrait, I thought why not create my own "slotted" holders.

Take a look at my flicker images below to see how I went about this. This may not be the perfect solution.....but it does work. And I didn't have to butcher my camera to do it.

You'll need access to a table saw and a vertical mill or router table.

I've got to imagine it would work as well for 4x5 and 3x4 holders.

Cheers

I'm curious how this works out. Despite protestations from my numerous professors, there have been times in my life when the math just doesn't add up. I hope this is the case here.

According to Graflex, Graflex holders keep the film farther away from the back of the camera than graphic holders, so putting a Graphic holder on a Graflex camera SHOULD give you a slightly fuzzy photograph, although I have seen modifications that, by the math, won't work and yet it does. [/u][/b]
