I have a Crown Graphic that is missing its release button--there's a hole in the covering where the button used to be. I can open the camera using a tiny screwdriver to release the latch, but that's a pain. I have some Micro-Tools leatherette to cover the hole--but what should I insert to reach the latch release?
I have another body where the cold shoe has been ripped off the top, along with some of the wood--I still have it, but is this just a case of using a little Elmer's wood glue to reattach it? It fits snugly onto the body... _________________ Stop me before I gear up again! |

There is a listing, 250735307738 on ebay, for the complete latch.
A short piece of wood or plastic dowel rod rounded on one end that fits the hole should work well also.
Yes, Elmer's Carpenters Wood Glue works well on Graflex/Graphic camera bodies. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |
