I just acquired a 90mm Optar (Wollensak) lens. I am trying to determine the size hole required to mount it. Does anyone have any information about mounting these Graphex lenses/ any lists of sizes available? |

I THINK the hole in the lens board is dependant on the shutter attached to the lens. There is an outfit on ebay who sells graflex lens boards differentiated by the shutter - copal0 for example. |

You'll have to get a board and have it bored to accept the shutter. Wolly shutters weren't made in standard Compur/Copal/Prontor sizes, so buying a board drilled for, e.g., Copal #0, isn't a good idea.
SKGrimes has boards and can drill them. www.skgrimes.com |

I wasn't suggesting a copal0, just suggesting that you need a lens board to suit the shutter. |

I just got one of these lenses in a Graphex shutter also. Was wondering what sort of lens board people have successfully mounted them in, since I'm going want to order one soon.
For my use case, initially, I'm hoping it'll help me comfortably shoot normal shots when using a 6x7 roll back. (and once I do get the stuff for sheet film, so I can shoot wide-angle) |
