Hi, I have a super graphic that I recently tested out with both APO symamr/210 and Xenar 135/4.7. While I am quite happy with my APO Symmar 210mm, I found even with the limited movements that my super offers, the 135mm Xenar can be a bit troublesome. I do like the 135mm Xenar otherwise, for its compact size that can sit inside the box while I am traveling around.
I was wondering whether there are other wide angle (around 100-135mm) lenses that have good sharpness/color rendering (like the APO symmar 210) and good size (like the Xenar 135mm). Could anyone comment based on own experience? Thanks! |

I would think almost any post-vietnam era 135mm should fill the bill. There's a 135mm Rodenstock Apo Sironar up on fleabay right now. I'm not certain if a 135 symmar S will fit and close but it should have decent movements compared to a Tessar (optar) _________________ "In order to invent, you need a good imagination and a lot of junk" Thomas Edison |
