First I wanted to get a heads up count of those out there that own or are shooting the old Auto Graflex cameras, the one with the small lens board that is recessed. Secondly, I'd like to ask what lenses you have fitted to this camera. My lens is probably the standard, uncoated 150mm B&L which I find very surprising. I'm looking to go longer and am thinking about adapting an outer lens board so I can use a synced lens for portrait shots. From what I see it will require removal of the lens cover and a little wood work but from my measurements I should be able to shoot my 203 Ektar at infinity with a CM to spare depending on the boards thickness. Another option I've been looking at is slotting the front standards for some lens rise, but that will come later if at all. I have acquired another user body for experiments and later replication with some modification for movements.

I shoot with an RB Auto. This is the one with the Speed Graphic style front standard and the fold flat bed. I got it for the reasons you said, nice long bellows for just about any portrait lens around. I shoot the original Protar and a B&L portrait lens on it.

Unless you want to hook up a sync to this, a 203 will be awfully slow to look through and to hand hold in normal light. The 203 Ektar is also quite harsh on all but the most perfect of models. How about an 8" tele optar?
