Greetings, all. So I'm looking to get a decent set of bag bellows for my GV1, but I've never done a bellows replacement, transplant on any camera, let alone one of these. Does anyone have any ideas, advice, etc? Can you even change out the bellows on these guys?

They made recessed lens boards for use on the GV series camera bodies. The bellows are attached to the front standard in such a way that quick repelacement like later view cameras isn't practical.

I have rebuilt quite a few of these cameras and I can tell you from experiance, taking the bellows off and putting them back on, is a royal pain in the butt! it is not condusive to maintaining ones sanity! your far better off locating a recesed lens board to go wider on them.

Ahah, so the true limitations of the GV come to the fore! Oh well, for $150 on ebay, I'm willing to put up with a recessed lens board.

Can I just say (I just got my GV yesterday) that I'm completely stupified that they're this cheap: they're such good pieces of equipment!
