Thanks Rick. I grabbed the pdf.

Unfortunately, the link associated with what you typed is incomplete.

The link of : http://graphics.thehills.id.au/SuperGraphicCam P33 (Rick).pdf
works fine, but that actual "link" of your text is clipped after the 'Cam' so opend to an Error 404 Not Found...

Edit: Ookay, the link is probably correct and there is a problem with the forum software and spaces in the filenames. I copied the actual link and pasted it here and it still doesn't work, clipping after the 'm', where there is a space. So if anyone else wants the file, cut and paste the link text into your browser...

I'll try a BBcode link here. [url=http://graphics.thehills.id.au/SuperGraphicCam P33 (Rick).pdf]Ricks P33 PDF file[/url]
Which works...

So far it just looks like I have a lot of work to do. I never paid attention, but my other 135mm cam turns out to be a P33 and not a P34. So I ave no direct comparison. But after seeing Charle's scans, and a soon to be done comparison with the P33, I gather my P34 is not quite up to snuf...

I also developed an infinity target for the RF so I can do true infinity here in the office. I reset my 90mm cam back to "factory specs"(?), or at least to match my other 90mm cam instead of matching the bad P34 for infinity. I still have to do a lot of comparisons and checking and then do some setups with measured distances and GG louping just to be sure... One of these days

Rich,

A couple more scans found, courtesy Tim Atherton and photo.net
Not sure if you have these or not ...

P 4 90mm http://www.photo.net/bboard/uploaded-file?bboard_upload_id=16636684

P80 206.5mm http://www.photo.net/bboard/uploaded-file?bboard_upload_id=16647084

I still haven't found a P28 for my 127mm yet, but I'm looking !

Hope it helps,
Rick

Thanks for those links!

I found it interesting that the P-4 has an "adjustment mark" on the rear bottom similar to my P-34. Someone must have been doing this at some point?

And the P-90 (really a P-80) is marked "210". It's a little short for a 210mm. I wonder if they were out of focus or they really had a 210 that measured 206.3? Possible I suppose...

Sorry Rich -

The 90 was a typo. P80(206.5 mm) is correct

Now if I can only figure out a way to plot all these curves, then figure out the calculation to make "any" focal length, we'll be right !

Thanks,
Rick

I have a bunch of photos of cams, some I have drawn up with dimensions! Cannot attest to the accuracy, but using the "knowns" (the hole size and spacing)as a starting point, they should be very close!
Email me at
bsaunders1@bak.rr.com
and I will forward all of them!
Have a nice day.....Bert

Thanks Bert, I got your pictures - you do have a good collection of top rangefinder cams !

Are you comfortable having them available to others online ? If so, we might be able to work something out between graflex org, me, or Rich.

Rich, not sure if these will help you (or me) given I at least only have a need for Super Graphic cams. Do you want them to add to your site's collection ?

Does anyone else have any cams (super or top rangefinder) they can scan (preferred for flat field) or photograph ? If so, please feel free to send them to me via the PM address on this site (sorry, too much spam leaving an open address on this page) or direct to Rich S

Thanks,
. Rick
