Do we know which anniversary of which event the "Anniversary" in the series designation of the Speed Graphic series introduced in 1940 refers to?

According to my copy of Graphic Graflex Photography (8th Edition, June 1947, page 406) it was in honor of the 50th anniversary of camera making by Graflex.
