Just received my Series B and all seems well except the finder has failed at the creases. Is there a preferred method to fix this? I would like to avoid doing a total refurb. Thanks.

Ecomony=Graffers tape applied to the inside of the hood, $15-$20 depending where and what size roll.
Better=Use neoprene/latex based contact cement and glue rubberized focus cloth or shutter curtain material to the inside of the seams 1/2 to 1 inch each side of the seam.
Best=make new focus hood.

As a temporary fix I used some archival tape (partly because until I knew what I was going to do by way of repairs, I wanted to keep it from accumulating a crud of old dried adhesive, but mostly because it just happened to be at my feet at the moment). Not very strong, and glaring white against the black of the hood, but keeps it from falling completely apart. I will make a new one sometime (it worked too good once I received it, I need to fix SOMETHING on it), so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to a specific material or supplier I should look for in reproducing the look and texture of the hood? It's a 1915 Graflex RB Telescopic with the speed plate on the hood itself. Suggestions anyone?
