Is there a pricing guide available on the Internet? I have found an interesting Speed Graphic Special Folding Camera in very good condition. It comes with a Xenar Syncro Compur 1:4.7 135mm lens # 6926581 and another lens; Graphex Graflex Optar F6.8 31/2" (90mm) #G44571N along with flash unit and a couple of packages of bulbs. I have no idea of its value and before I buy it I would like to know the average value of this camera.
Thanks
Ed

Ed, I was reading through your other post and then noticed this one. I can tell you that I've sold 2 90mm optars in the past and Both of them went for $125 each. On cameras they can probably be found for less. That is, you get the camera And the lens.. I don't know of any speed graphic specials either, though there were Crown Graphic specials. They can go from $200 - $300 depending.. They have a top rangefinder, the lens board SAYS "special". If it is a speed graphic then the lens board isn't native to the camera.. No big deal, most probably aren't.

Re your other post.. A Polaroid 545 shouldn't cost you any more than $75 and that's the HIGH end. For a Generic pacemaker speed graphic with optar or ektar lens, $200. About the same for a crown. Be careful you don't get caught up in a bidding war with a movie nut after the flash gun that comes with an outfit..

Good luck Jeff

Graflex/graphic under mutiple format cameras. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of their price quotes, most are reasonable.

I would have to say, that pricing on the Graphics are usually what the market will bear, I have looked at a lot that I thought were priced way out of the ballpark that sold, and then see several that I think should go higher and end up selling for a small amount of money, I have never really seen a diginative price guide, although McKowens does list some of the graphics in thier price guide, I guess my best advice would be if it feels good.....do it, if it doesn't then wait for the next one to come along, there are a great number of these cameras all over the market place, and they vary in pricing quite a bit.
