Ektalite Field Lens
Located just beneath ground
glass, this lens gives image of
maximum brightness clear
to the corners. You see a clear
image even in poor light or
with lens stoped down for
determining depth of field.		 Film Versatility
Roll, pack[obsolete], or
sheet film can be used
interchangeably.

  • Picture size
    3-1/4 x 4-1/4 or 4x5 inches, depending on model, using film pack or sheet film. Roll holder accomodates any 120 size roll film with choice of 8 pictures 2-1/4x3-1/4 or 12 pictures 2-1/4x2-1/4, according to roll holder selected.
  • Camera Size
    3-1/4 x 4-1/4 Super D measures 7-1/2" x 5-1/2" x 7-3/4" when closed; weighs 80 oz. 4x5 Super D measures 8-3/4" x 6-1/4" x 8-1/2"; weighs 112oz. A convenient handle is provided on top of the camera.

  • Flash
    3-1/4x4-1/4 Super D recommended shutter speeds are 1/200, 1/400, 1/1000 when using GE No. 31 or Sylvania No. 2A flash lamps. 4x5 Super D recommended shutter speed with same lamps is 1/1000. Eitehr size may be used with other flash lamps or high speed electronic flash with drop curtain setting.
  • Shutter Speeds
    The simplified Super D focal plane shutter is extremely accurate and provides a useful range of speeds which include 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/200, 1/300, 1/400, 1/800, 1/1000 plus 1/5 (drop curtain) and "Time" setting.
  • Construction
    Super D body is made of seasoned Honduras Mahogany, thoroughly reinforced an dsturdily constructed to last a lifetime. External metal parts are finished in chrome or black enamel and the camer is covered with fine morocco grain leather.
