GCJ installs itself in the alternatives system.
Here is an RPM that addds Sun's Java to the alternatives system. http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=571177&messageID=2827642 is discussion about the issue. Once you install sunjavafix-ub-1-ub3.noarch.rpm , you can do alternatives --config java to switch back to GCJ as the default, if you need to.
