I recently acquired a Speed Graphic - serial #842182. It has a Graflex Optar Lens - f/4.7 135mm. The Kalart Rangefinder is on the side.
I want to order an instruction manual from craigcamera.com and I'm trying to find out the approximate year of manufacture. From the descriptions I've read, I'm guessing it's between 1947 and 1954.
Can anyone help? |

If it has a body shutter release just below and in front of the range finder then it is a Pacemaker series and manual 193-263 (John's reprint # 900022) will be the right one.

I didn't see a listing for manual 193-263 (John's reprint # 900022) on craigcamera.com (http://www.craigcamera.com/ib_graflex.htm). It looks like the one I will need is #GRA-063 for the "Pacemaker Graphics (Speed, Crown), 1948".
Thanks for your quick replies!
