Thanks in advance,

If you have the original measure the wire diameter and its outside diameter with a caliper. Go to a hardware store that carries expansion springs or an online supplier and select a spring that is made from the same gauge (diameter) wire and is the same outside diameter. If the exact size are not available get as close as possible to it.

Using 2 pairs of needle nose pliers form one end of the spring to match the original, count the number of turns on the original, then cut the new spring 2 turns longer. Now form the other end of the spring to match the original.
Be sure to form the ends so that the spring coils turn in the same direction as the original.

Test the new spring and shorten if needed.

Ive tried it here in China but only things I can find are Extension & Compression springs which do not have enough force as the Torsion spring that was originally there and they do deform if I try to put them in that place...
Also all the workshops making springs here do not accept smaller orders

expansion=Extension
I did this for a 2x3 RB Series B. Two full turns = the shaft retaining bend was too much and the spring would wind against the mirror shaft. One turn more than the original + the shaft retaining end works well. And, yes, it is not as strong as a new/low use series b spring but it is strong enough to operate the mirror fully at all shutter tensions.

What are your spring's measurements?
