Hello friends,

I'm curious if anyone has experience using Linhof 2 1/4 X 3 1/4 or 6.5 X 9 cut film holders in a Graphic?

I see on the ones I've handled that there is a ridge that runs all the way around the four edges of the holder as if on the Linhof cameras that ridge slips into a slot in the back. The 4X5 and 9X12 Linhof holders don't appear to have this ridge.

It's also incomplete where the flap pops up to load/unload the holder.

I'm wondering two things: Will that ridge put the film or plate out of the focus plane? If it doesn't, will the gap in that ridge cause a light leak?

These holders could be fun for tintypes or glass plates, but they ain't cheap. Looking not for guesses or assumptions here, but actual experience!

Thanks!
