Does anyone have one? Or perhaps some pictures?
I would like to buy one but dont know if i get the right one.
i have heard it needs a 'long throw', meaning the plunger pin needs to be longer than some are, thats why im asking.
If someone could point me to a shop or seller, would be great

Standard cable releases have a 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch throw or plunger travel.
A long throw release will have a 3/4 inch throw or longer.
I have several vintage releases and the base of the thumb platform to the lock/cable housing is equal to or 1/8 inch longer than the plunger length when fully depressed/locked.

The Gape metal weave B&H #GE1023 may have a long enough travel to work.

Call and ask for a 3/4 inch or longer cable travel. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |
