Can anyone give me any information on a SINGER-GRAFLEX-TELEX MODEL 1115AR AS-25 16mm movie projector. What year was it built and who built it, Singer or Graflex, how would you rate it on a scale 1-10?
I can't find much about it on the web.
Thanks, Bruce

Not much action on AV equipment in this site but I will link a few revel ant posts and available info.

Graflex was self owned, owned by many other companies including Kodak, General Precision, and Singer. Graflex always did their own manufacturing to the best of my knowledge. When a new owner took control of the company they operated the same factory. On the home page, articles heading is A History of Rochester Camera and Lens Companies, http://www.graflex.org/articles/kingslake/ , early history of Graflex.

Now in help board site discussion, is http://www.graflex.org/helpboard/viewtopic.php?t=3321, Service Bulletin #7, Date codes. This service bulletin states that on a 16mm projector the date code will be stamped just above the projection lamp or on the serial number nameplate. The date code will be a Letter, single digit Number, and a Letter. The date code will be an ink stamp that may have faded or been partially wiped off during cleaning with cleaner.

The post that would have been at the top of this section, http://www.graflex.org/helpboard/viewtopic.php?t=5579 ,
author says they are one of the best 16mm projectors available.
