Would this lens fit to my Crown? Is it a very good lens? _________________ Philippe Grunchec

Philippe;
When you ask if a certain lens will fit your camera (Crown, Speed etc.) it helps if you say which size camera you have. The lens boards for the 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 (6x9) cameras are smaller than those of the larger sizes, therefore some lenses are too large for the smaller lens boards but will fit the larger cameras.

Look on Google; I found a few posts on photo.net.
One person said it had bad lateral color so use a yellow filter for b/w.
Another person said he was happy with it. It covers 4x5 and more than one person inferred it was a practical and economical alternative to a Grandagon type, although not as good.
I can't help with size question. _________________ Murray |
