I'm new to the forum and fairly new to LF photography. I have a 4 X 5 Crown and a 4X 5 Speed Graflex that my dad left me that I am just beginning to get set up to use. I just recently bought a new Graflokk back to change out the graphic back on the Crown (since I have a couple of Tele Optar in barrel lenses). Finally, the question .... is light seal foam or other material needed between the back of the camera body and the Graflokk back? I've tried to read as much on this site as I can, but I have found no info on this subject. For anyone curious, I am useing 120 RH backs and in barrel lenses is the reason for the back conversion. In time maybe I will progress to processing my own film. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gary

No foam needed. Remove screws, detach back, attach replacement back, replace screws.

Good luck, have fun,

Dan
