I thought about posting this to photo.net but I thought some of you guys might have more experience with what I'm wanting to do than the 35mm guys on that forum. I would like to shoot some portraits on black and white using incandescent lighting. I'll be using 4x5 Tri-X Pan Pro. I've been out of photography for some 30 years but I remember something about light meters not giving true readings with incandescent. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yeah the cell in the light meter doesn't react perfectly with the film or your eye, but I think the variation is negligable.

A bigger factor is that Tri-X is not as sensitive to yellow light as it is to blue, so rate it around 160.
