Moving a Rangefinder to a different camera?

I now have 2 Century Graphics - one is black on black, fairly beat, but has an Ektar 101 in good shape (and a Synchro-Rapid 800 that seems to work), plus a Kalart side-mounted rangefinder that also seems to work. The other is red on gray, very clean, but with a 103mm Graflar in a non-working shutter and no rangefinder. What would be involved in moving the rangefinder (along with the Ektar) from the beater camera to the clean one?

Thanks much,
Joanna

No problem to move from one body to the other, may have to re-calibrate for diff lens! There are instructions for that on this forum, I have instructions for locating the arm, and my own adj instructions also if you need either!

Thanks, Bert. I could certainly use the instructions for locating the arm. I've seen the instructions for adjusting the rangefinder elsewhere in graflex.org, but the mechanical instructions for attaching it would be most welcome.

The Kalart on my Century is the model E6. Chances are that the Mahogonite body of your Century has the holes for this finder already located and drilled (cast?) in the body. I know when I went to fit an optical viewfinder to my Century, the holes for the base plate were already there on top, right under the faux-leather cover. If the holes *are* there, you should be able to see them coming out the other side (the inside) of your camera box.

Be sure and change the distance scale too. Keep the lenses and their scales together - they were matched by Graflex.

Too bad about the Graflar. I know they were not highly rated, but there were some terrific examples produced.
