Does anyone know of a person or company that can re-assemble the winding & counter mechanism of a '23' back? The moron in me that comes out when I think I can fix anything, took it apart and now has NO IDEA where anything goes. I have all the springs and screws. Any help would be most appreciated.
Thank you.

Well, Ted, short of somebody issuing a "Graphic Roll Holders for Morons" book, you might try http://www.photobooksonline.com/books/manual03.html item no. 80009 or 90197 for a repro factory service manual on this item, if you feel like tackling the job yourself. I have several different manuals from this source and they are very useful---and cheap for what you get. "When in doubt, read the instructions...."

Its been a couple of years, and I didn't dismantle the thing, just noted that it didn't do what it was supposed to, but Armato's in NYC fixed a dud Graflex/SubSea back for me. When I talked things over, they told me that Armato Sr., who was semi-retired, was a specialist in many things Graflex. Call them, the worst they can do is insult you and tell you to go away.

Cheers,

Dan

Thanks for the info Henry! Ordered the manual and actually fixed the thing myself! Now it works better than when I bought it. Thanks again!
