# 1386085161 is NOT listed in Paine's book. Has anyone any knowledge about this type other than sellers information?

I think Gandolf is going to lay low on this one for a while. Went over to his house yesterday and he's got sandbags piled up all over his office and a big bertha siting on top locked on to this auction. I guess he's bunkered down for a big snipe. I'll see what he says once he finishes his K rations and puts down his WWII helmet.

one of 12 "PH-6 target practice cameras" dated October and December 1937.
How an ex wide angle lens like a Protar V would help in target practice is a mystery. It's too slow to freeze a bullet and too wide to mimic any kind of gun, even a Howitzer.

Being 1 of 12 special mades helps expalin its final price and lack of doucementation.
Set up to cover a large area of the test range the images could have been used to verify test accuracy reports.
