I am a new speed graphic and graflex owner and I want to shoot my 4 x 5 speed soon, but (and this may be a dumb question)I know how to load the film holders, know how to unload them but how does one ship the exposed 4 x5 sheet negs to the processor?? I don't want to ship the actual film holders of course, so how would you ship the negs to be developed? Any ideas???

I asked this same question (probably here) and got a host of answers. The most popular being "use an old film box", which doesn't help if you don't have any.

I found fairly inexpensive light tight black plastic bags at B&H and bought a half dozen to hold negatives. And you could wrap them in just about anything that's light tight, even old film boxes.

But maybe someone else will come up with a better suggestion?

Ask the processor how they want the film shipped, and follow their advice. Fred.

Hey I looked at the b and H website and what catagory exactly are those black plastic bags you were talking about? I searched and searched but to no avail.

I just did a quick search at B&H for "film bag" and came up with this:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=15808&is=REG

Looks like what I bought. 4 buck for 5 of them, not bad...
