Can anyone give me some basic info on operating my 1933-ish Series I SLR? Or point me to a manual or web site? I just got it from an Ebay seller. Everything seems to work reasonably well. The exposure chart is missing. What shutter speeds are represented by the numbers 1-9? What does the little button between the frame counter and the viewing hood do? It has an arrow printed below it, but doesn't seem to serva a function. Which of the two red windows on the back do I use to advance the film? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jersey Jeff.

The model name is >"National Graflex"<, the series 1 was #1 of 2 models---series 1 being manufactured from 1933-1935 series 2
1934-1941. Someone on this forum probably can tell you more about it, since we have identified the camera! About all that I can tell you (having never seen one) is that it had a shutter curtain 1/30 to 1/500, and bulb...used 120 roll film, 10 exposures,
2 1/8 x 2 1/2....1-9 is an odd number for the exposure tag, the larger cameras usually have 4 rows of six for exposures...I can send a photo (via email) of one of the normal tags if that would help! Contact me at bsaunders1@bak.rr.com for the photo! In the mean time I will look for a descriptive brochure I think I may have on this camera! Bert

Found the brochure, it is only a sales brochure, and adds nothing in the way of the tech info you need..... Bert
