Lets start some real controversy today. What's your favorite B&W Film and developer combo?
When I started doing large format last year, I began using Ilfords Delta 100 and their ID11 1 to 1. Not having anything to compare my negatives to I was very pleased.
Until...
About a year later a friend introduced me to Perceptol "Ilford". Using this Stock I am blown away at the difference. It's like looking at fine etchings now. And the density range is unheard of. For doing Palladium and Platnium prints this is the only way to go.
Not to mention the tonal range with traditional papers is stunning.
I'm also getting ready to try some of Ilfords Delta 400, from what I hear it's every bit as good as the 100.

That's weird. I don't see how it can possibly focus to infinity. It doesn't look like the lens board will fit inside the box. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Dan

Hi. No expert here. but I have been using Ilford HP5-Plus 400-speed 2X3 cut film...developing in good old Kodak D-76...and have been very well pleased with the tonal gradations. Fred.
