I've got a new-to-me pacemaker speed graphic with a side mounted kalart rangefinder. The arm inside the camera that links the rangefinder to the moving camera bed follows the bed a short ways as I rack it out, but then... runs into the metal arm that holds the drop down camera bed and stays there as I rack the bed out more. Is this expected behavior, or is the rangefinder arm bent? It *looks* straight, but doesn't seem to be moving as far out as it maybe should. Thanks for thoughts...

Doesn't sound unusual, Phillip. If you'll notice the scale on the bed, by the time the arm stops, you have gone beyond the scale. There's just so much adjustment built into the rangefinder. Provided the arm doesn't stop BEFORE the scale limit is reached, you're OK. The shape of the arm you've described is normal.

OK, thanks. My camera came without a lens, so it's a little hard to tell what normal is...

Oops. Didn't consider that! It does sound normal, though. The arm does hit the bracket at a point, even though the bed keeps going. It will make more sense with the lens. Hope you enjoy it.
