| Well, if you can live with shooting 2x3, there ARE roll holders for 3x4 press cameras.
Cheers,

Well : Im a experimenter so I built myself a film trimmer and cut 4x5 to 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 size. (in total darkness of course)and i shoot away. also I buy 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 cut film locally in Stillwater Oklahoma. For my baby speed graphics.

I think that metric 9x12 CM sheet film is close enough for Gov't work to 3 1/4X 4 1/4.
It can be had from Efke and a couple of other former east bloc outfits mail-order from Berlin.

It's a great idea if it works out to be cheaper than trimming down 4x5 from B&H. You'll still have to trim some down because the film holders are quite picky about getting the dimention just right.
the biggest unkown is going to be what customs will hit you with and will it be consistant. |

I'm about to place an order with FotoImpex in Berlin. If anybody wants to join me and share the shipping costs, which are normally about $15 total, let me know. Send private mail. |
