I recently picked one up in good shape on ebay, without a manual of course. It is easy enough to figure out EXCEPT there is not START HERE indicator for the starting position to line up the film. Can anybody assit? Thanks.

I had the same question when I got mine; look at the hinged plate with the roller on it. There are two oval holes, and you pull the film out until the start arrows appear in the holes. Obvious once you see it, but they should have marked it "start".

BTW, mine is a 220 holder, and I think it can be used for 120 as well once you figure out the start mark. I figured out the start point for 120 and marked it, but have not had an opportunity to try it out this way. The start point is about 1 3/4 inches to the right of the 220 holes. I cannot think of any reason why it would not work with 120, but of course you would have to watch the counter as it will not stop you as the roll finishes.

You can download a pdf of the C2n manual from:

under graflex Manuals, down at the bottom of the list.

Thanks a lot guys. You are right about the holes, it is logical once you figure it out. Mine works for both 120 and 220. I figured out the start mark had to be past the beginning of the pressure plate, but I didn't flash on the value of the holes. Obviously the are there for some reason. I will download the manual.
