I run the gambit from high end digital to my orginal camera a 59 contaflex. Each has its own place in my world.
SO here is my newest project I picked up 2 graphics one is a speed graphic (had a stuck focal plane shuter but fixed that in a flash) and a view graphic that looks to be brand new. I have loaded up my first 5 film holders and I am waiting for the chance to fire the puppies off and see the results. This was a steal that I picked up from an old school press photographer with more gadget and do hickies than I know what to do with for $200. I mean alot of stuff like the enlarger attachment to turn the camera into an enlarger, 4x5 film canister for developng, 3 or 4 different flach heads, and more filters than I can shake a stick at.
What I need help with as this is my real first dive into 4x5 work, is a good site that will go over the basic (espically the view camera) working principles. I can run with the 120 back or the polaroid back no problem the film is cheap. What I don't want to do is burn up high end film without some idea of what I'm doing.
Any help would be appericated.

Okay not really the type of sites I was looking for. Thanks for the effort though. I'm looking for more along the lines of explaining the tilt and shift and when to use them, also advanced usage of the cameras. The basics I have covered |

Buy Steve Simmon's book "Using the View Camera"
and if that one's too simple for you, buy "View camera Technique" by Stroebel...

I'm partial to Stroebel's book, It's clean and concise. I've used it many times to figure out what lens formula to use when posting answeres here. Then again I could be just a tad biased.... I had him for a professor and his name is Les.
