I have a Graflex RB Series D 4x5 camera. The film holders for this camera look like regular 4X5 holders EXCEPT they have a groove on either side of the holder. I have 3 holders, but I would like to get 5 more.
Does anyone have an idea where I might find these holders?

Thanks to the response I got here, I contacted the folks at LENSandREPRO; sure enough five holders are winging their way to me.
Thanks very much for that suggestion. I have contacted many other sources including ebay without success. So I am doubly grateful for the suggestion. |

I just received five holders for my 4X5 Reflex.
They are quite old, but in good shape. However, the tape that holds the film entry section is cracking on several and completely missing on one. Do any of you know what kind of tape would be best to rebuilt these holders?

Black photographic tape or gaffer's tape. I think there is a purpose made hinge tape for them, too. B&H Photo or Calumet should have it. I'm cheap so I use thin black fabric reinforced leatherette that I have. It's almost identical to hinge tape. Be sure to thoroughly blow the dust out of the light trap where the slides go in before you use those.

Someone just posted 4 NOS 4x5" Graflex-type holders on apug.org. Check the classifieds section to see if they've been snapped up yet.
