There is very little discussion on this forum with regard to the Fuji Digital Color Printers, PG3500 & PG4000. In the interest of making true photo quality prints this is surprising. Fuji has developed, what has to be, the premium digital color printer in its class.
Lack of information on this forum about these printers indicates the possibilities that 1) price is to high, 2) cost of materials to high, 3) not enough exposure by Fuji in the media.
Cost of an 8 x 10 is about $2.00 each, the Printers cost $5995.00 for the 3500 & $12,995.00 for the 4000.
We sell a fair number of these printers each month, and it is truly inspiring to see the reaction from new end users, who have been toiling with ink jet and dye sublimation printers. The ease of use and quality of image far surpasses their expectations. This is achieved on the first print in less than 2 minutes. The images are extremely stable, and change very little over time. The color fidelity is spectacular.
The technology, first developed by Fuji as a proofing device for the graphics market, is laser exposure, thermal development, dye transfer. Accomplished by exposing a donor (negative) to CMY simultaneously, with a highly directed semi-conductor laser. The photosensitive donor is exposed by laser diodes, and then heat and a small amount of water are applied to create a dye image. The dye image is then transferred to the receiver paper
Under light pressure, peeled apart, dried and the finish print emerges in less than 2 minutes.
The printer performs all of these steps without intervention from the user. The printers are extremely reliable and trouble free. The ease of use makes them and ideal printer for photographers who shoot everything from weddings to sports, they have major applications in the medical and research fields, newspapers and service bureaus can benefit from them, portrait prints and nature studies have never been easier to produce. Are you involved in location event photography? The Pictro printers are small and can be used in the field, with a laptop computer, to produce on site images for immediate sale.
The PG 4000 has the ability to produce 14 different print sizes from 4" x 6" to 12" x 18"! The PG 3500 prints to a maximum size of 8.5" x 11".
Both printers use Matte or Glossy finish receivers and also have transparency material available.
If you are interested in further information, or if you have any questions relating to these printers or other digital equipment, please contact Ed or John at 510.667.0059 or post a thread on this forum with questions or comments and we will gladly respond here.

On the home page under Helpboard it very plainly says "NO SALES". This is not an appropriate forum to tout your commercial interest in selling Fuji printers! The Helpboard is for Graflex and Graphic camera users to discuss their experiences, exchange information and advice, and try to answer questions and address problems connected with these cameras. Please remove your post and find another outlet for your sales pitch.

Henry, thank you for expressing your concerns over the content of my post. My intention was to express my satisfaction with the overall performance and ease of use of these fine printers.
I have been a large format user for over 30 years, and in all of my experience no printer has come close to providing this quality. I felt that information on public forums about the printers was lacking and extended the invitation to broaden awareness.
Thanks again for your comments.
