I want to use a 1960s symmar with my Crown Graphic... I believe I need the p6 cam... Anybody know the facts on this, and where I can obtain what I need for the lens?

Well, you don't mention what the focal length of your lens is? A P6 cam is for a 135mm lens. A Symmar 135 may be close enough or far enough away to need a P5 or P7? Maybe someone has the same lens and could measure?

What do you need for the lens? Are you talking abour a lens board? They are available new from Midwest ( mpex.com) and used from KEH. There's a very good chance you could get a board with the right sized hole for whatever shutter your lens may have.

As far as getting the cam, they are not available new. Fred Lustig may have them. Mpex may also. Or ebay. The 135mm cams are probably the most abundant but finding any of them used is difficult...

Oh, and you may have to readjust your infinity stops. I had to move mine when I installed a Nikkor 135 in place of the old Optar 135 the camera came with. Easy to do but bad if you forget to check.

Good luck with it.

Assuming you are looking for a 'Top Rangefinder' cam, these links might help:
(NB: most originally came from from Bert Saunders - a valued member of this forum)

Cam 135 P6 (photo)
135mm Cam (drawing)
P6 CAM Dimensions (drawing)

I hope they are of some help.

Happy Holidays !

There are several (p-6 and p-7 I think) top rangefinder cams on the auction site now. Only a couple of days old. Dig deep.
